Dear Entrepreneur,
My name is Wolfgang H. Kurpiers and it is my pleasure to welcome you to our new website. I was recently elected to the Chair of the South Florida SCORE South Florida Chapter, my 2-year term beginning October 1st, 2006. Throughout my career with IBM I held a series of responsible Marketing Management assignments in the USA and overseas. While IBM is a fortune 500 corporation, many of my assignments dealt with a small company ($5 to 45 million) environment. At IBM, startup organizations were called “Independent Business Units”, which experienced similar challenges to any startup business, with a strong focus on profits. I am very experienced in marketing channel and sales force development. My industry experience spans from the Manufacturing industry to Distribution and Industrial Process environment.
I have engaged in consulting work helping small businesses develop marketing strategies, support and implementation processes as well as advising in the reorganization requirements necessary for the successful growth of a business from a single entrepreneurial status to a professionally managed company environment. On our site we have worked diligently to bring you a great deal of business information that is easily accessible.

We have included an "Upcoming Workshops" page which will enable you to see our workshop schedule two months ahead and you can easily register for any of these workshops on-line. Want to set up an appointment for free counseling? No problem. Want to send an e-mail to any of our counselors? Easily done. There is also a "Resource Center" link which immediately connects you to the National SCORE web page or to the SBA web page with its wide array of business resource material. This page also has extensive links to other sources of vital business information. Our "Counselor Profiles" page features information about our fine staff of experienced businesspeople who are here to assist you in achieving your goals.
All in all, we think we have brought you an attractive, well-designed website that's easy to navigate and contains a vast array of business resource material that can be of great assistance to a small business owner or anyone wishing to start a small business.
